In memory of Le Quesnoy's Kiwi saviours
The liberation of Le Quesnoy in France, by Christchurch man Lieutenant Averill and his fellow NZ Division soldiers, will be commemorated exactly 100 years later with the unveiling of a plaque in the Park of Remembrance this Sunday.
