Enliven is Looking for Volunteers at Our Seniors' Day Programmes
Do you want to:
- make a positive difference?
- meet new people and make friends?
- give your day a sense of purpose?
- feel really good about helping people?
Enliven day programmes give older people the opportunity to connect with others while maintaining interests and skills, and sharing activities and experiences in the community. They're lively affairs—fun, and enjoyable for all involved!
We are looking for kind, personable volunteers to help our qualified staff by serving meals and morning/afternoon teas, setting up and clearing away activities, and supporting and encouraging our senior clients as they participate in the programme.
- Time commitment: 2 hours each week or fortnight. Days negotiable. A minimum term of 4 months, please.
- Location: Linwood and Riccarton
- Times available: Weekdays
- Skills Required: Good communication skills. Sensitivity to the needs of older people, especially those with memory loss.
