Looking to buy Victorian meat strainers - see photo
Hi there
I am on the hunt for anyone who may have an old Victorian meat strainer tucked away in a cupboard that they'd like to go to a good home. These are usually flat oval porcelain plates with holes in the top - they used to sit on a platter so the meat juices could drain through. Please see attached photo of one so you know what I mean. If anyone has one they would like to pass on/sell - I would be delighted to make contact with you
Best way to use leftovers?
I'm sure you've got some excess ham at home or cold roast potatoes.
