check if your rangehood and bathroom extractor fan are properly vented
We are in the process of moving into a house my son has recently purchased, and in the process of getting some electrical and plumbing work done for new appliances, the sparky realised that the new rangehood had been installed so that the aluminium vent tube in the ceiling cavity looked like it was connected to the outside vent, when in fact it was simply pushed into the batts to make it look that way.
The bathroom fan also just vents into the roof space. So if you are able to access your roof space, it might be worth checking. Makes me wonder how many issues with mould and damp in New Zealand homes are caused by this kind of thing. Take care and Merry Christmas!

When are these stupid things going to be banned????? just had some morons letting them off at 11.30 tonight. Pets are terrified!!!! Sooner they are history the better. Is it illegal to let them off any other time than guy fawkes night?????
