In Search of the Matherson family
A member is arranging a reunion of those who worked at the Pompolona Lodge on the Milford Track, in the Fiordland National Park back in the 1980s.
The Pompolona Lodge Staff Reunion is taking place in January 2018 and most people have been located, except one person - Helen Matherson (maiden name).who once lived in the Wanaka region.
So if any one has any information regarding this person or her family please respond by posting here in the first instance.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
