Dumped Kittens
We were advised by my friends sons who have been bricklaying in Prestons in couple of new houses towards the backend near to the Mairehau Rd end about three tiny kittens that were dumped in one of the houses.
If you are walking in the area please be on the lookout one apparently white and the other grey. We have managed to rescue one and is currently being cared for by the SPCA.
Please everyone there is no need to dump kittens the SPCA are an amazing organisation who were happy for me to deliver this precious wee kitten to their care.
If you are a walker then the area of the houses concerned is down Prestons Drive through to the second roundabout turn left then turn right and it is the 3rd street on the left.
They house they were dumped in is the second house on the right.
We are walking back daily and are trying desperately to save them and have been leaving pet milk and kitten food.
Thanks for reading this and I would welcome a message if anyone does find them.
I would be happy if you can’t take them to the SPCA or may be in lockdown able to care for them
Take care people
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
