University students to hold Cross-party Election Debates
The University of Canterbury (UC) students are organising non-partisan Cross-Party Election Debates for the various Chch Electorates starting in mid July to August. The various electorates' candidates will be invited to debate with the other Parties' candidates for their particular electorate. Searching questions from the audience will be invited. Most Debates are to held be at UC and are usually in the Undercroft at the Hight Library building. Make 'em work hard for your vote!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
