Meet the team!
Our founder is Carolyn Oakley-Brown who has spent her entire career working in community healthcare. As a pharmacist in Christchurch for over 35 years, Carolyn runs the Oakley-Brown Pharmacy Group which owns 6 pharmacies throughout the city. Carolyn has strategically improved outside relationships with other local and national health care practitioners and the CDHB funding provider. Although Carolyn recently stood down from several National Health Boards, she was made a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of NZ in recognition of significant and outstanding contribution to the advancement of the practice of Pharmacy in NZ.
Having a particular passion for community health, Carolyn has been working on making pulse wave analysis screenings available in New Zealand for the last 2 years and is very excited to be able to offer this innovative service in her own pharmacies.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
