CCC Berm maintenance Ryan St

Bernard from Phillipstown

6 yrs ago Ryan Street had a make over and the area surrounding the trees was changed to accommodate bark mulch. The CCC said better for trees. The bark has long gone and replaced by weeds. I have approached CCC who referred to local Community Board no response from my local rep so emailed Chair who promised to get onto it several times. Still nothing since last May. (I note that St Albans berms are immaculate.) We all mow the berm and were once a proud prize winning street Has anyone any idea how we can get CCC to replace the bark mulch?

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
