On Wednesday, April 25, New Zealand and Australian soldiers – the Anzacs – landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey.

Since 1916, Anzac Day has become the day New Zealanders acknowledge the service and sacrifice of all people involved in military conflicts. It commemorates more than 300,000 New Zealanders who served their country and the 30,000 who have died in service, and had been a public holiday since 1921.

Coming up this Thursday is our monthly Quiz Night. We have arranged some fun events for you and some interesting competitions to keep you going through the night.
We've made some changes, still 7 rounds, but only 10 questions per round and hopefully a bit more "relevant" to our audience? We do have to ask though, please only four people per team to keep it fair and even. If you have more we will make teams up with the overs!!

The drum kit is coming back and we might even get the guy who owns them to play a track (or two)!
