Do you have an old piece of furniture that could do with a new lease on life? Papanui High School is offering a hands on Upholstery Course taught by Steve McDonald. This course is being run the weekend of 4 & 5 April 9 am - 4 pm both days at a cost of $158. Come along and learn how to repair, repad and recover that favourite piece of furniture. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
