Village Green Path

Community Development Worker from Bishopdale Community Trust

Have you seen the south end of Bishopdale Village Mall recently? The path that's spanning the new Village Green has been laid. We've been getting great feedback on the path which should be ready to walk on in a few weeks' time.

Thanks heaps to all the volunteers who helped and those local businesses who donated time and materials to the project: Allied Concrete, Mitre 10 MEGA Papanui and Urban Paving

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
