Hospital pharmacy workers to strike for four days
Pharmacy workers at the Canterbury District Health Board will strike for four days from 6am Thursday to 6am Monday.
No treatment will be deferred during the strike period, but patients will be less likely to have a pharmacist involved in their medicine review.
Patients and carers are being reminded to bring their medicines with them when they come to hospital and to talk to other available staff about their medicines.
