Fund Raiser
My name is Dave Brant and I represent Mike Pero Real Estate, Kaiapoi. In light of the tragic events last Friday I have decided to raise funds to support the Muslim community. I have chosen to do this at our Mike Pero stand at the Oxford A & P Show on Saturday 30th March. Along with my colleague Michelle, we will have a guess the number of Easter eggs in a jar competition. Entries will be just a gold coin donation and the winner will take home the jar of eggs. Additional prizes would also be welcome so that a raffle can also be performed to raise additional funds. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
