End in sight for year-long roadworks on Christchurch's Colombo St
More than a year of roadworks on one of Christchurch's major streets is almost at an end.
The $4.4 million Christchurch City Council project is installing a new wastewater pipeline along the middle of Colombo St between the roundabout at Dyers Pass Rd and Fisher Ave.
Construction work started on June 5, 2018, and was expected to take 12 months, but has ran slightly over schedule. It will be completed on Wednesday, though some ,more minor work will be done in July.
