CAB free clinics coming up – 22-26 July 2024
We have several free clinics coming up this week - see details below for JP and general Legal advice. Plus specialist advice for employment, immigration and ACC every 2 weeks and a monthly CV clinic.
1. Justice of the peace – Monday, 22nd - 9.30-12.30. Hornby community centre. Drop in clinic – 03 349 5236
2. CAB Volunteers at the Loft (upstairs in Eastgate Mall Library) - Tuesday, 23rd - 11-2pm – no appointment needed
3. Justice of the peace – Thursday, 25th - 9.30-12.30. Hornby community centre. Drop in clinic – 03 349 5236
4. Free legal clinics – Thursday, 25th – drop in clinic
- 1pm - 133 Brighton Mall (entrance on Union Street, SBA office) – 03 366 6490
- 6.15pm - 8 Goulding Ave (Hornby community centre) – 03 349 5236
5. Specialist clinics – held Fortnightly - email christchurchclinics@outlook.com to book an appointment if you need help with any of these issues.

For our drop in clinics, we recommend phoning on the day to check the lawyer / JP is available.

Prime Minister delivering apology
On Tuesday 12 November, the Prime Minister will deliver a public apology to survivors of abuse in care in Parliament.
You can register your interest to attend the event in Parliament, or if you want to watch it with friends, whānau or a support person you can attend an event at the Due Drops Event Centre in Auckland, Shed 6 in Wellington or the Christchurch Town Hall.
