Come to a Demolition Art Exhibition this Weekend!

Vivienne Wallace from Presbyterian Support Upper South Island

Staying in town this Show weekend? Come on down to the Demolition Art Exhibition in the old Presbyterian Support building at 44 Bealey Ave. Local volunteer artists have created unique art works inside the building (next to Knox Church).

Each artwork is inspired by Presbyterian Support social services, and our mission to support children, youth, families, and older people to become safe, strong, and connected.

This is a one-time opportunity to see and enjoy these special art works drawn for a good cause. With a fundraiser sausage sizzle and special “Monster” treasure hunt, it will be good fun for kids too. We hope to see you there!

Entry by donation, or order a copy of our Demolition Art 2018 calendar here: www.trademe.co.nz....

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
