Tally ho for the Tweedsters on the National Tweed Ride

A country bicycle ride with lashings of style and delicious Hendrick's Gin.

If this sounds like your cup of tea then hurry as there are a handful of tickets remaining for the Blackwell & Sons National Tweed Ride on Saturday afternoon 8 April.

All you could possibly want to know and tickets can be found at blackwellandsons.nz... And you can watch mad mob head out at the beginning of the ride at 85 West Street at 1pm on Saturday (the carpark behind the South Wairarapa Workingmen's Club).

The Tweed Ride is a fabulous spectator sport! See well dressed folk and decorated bicycles as 200 riders take off. Top class old school fun! To be sure - there's nothing else like it in New Zealand.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
