Artisan Food Fair and Lucy Corry this SATURDAY Featherston Booktown
Featherston Booktown are celebrating foodies on Saturday 20 November from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Anzac Hall complex – and you’re invited. This is a free event.
The Artisan Food Fair has stall holders who will cater for every moment of your eating day – from breakfast with the WildChix muesli team, the naturally sweetest local apple juice, Kombucha, honey, coffee beans roasted 14 minutes away, mushrooms and award-winning olive oil. Nibble on the best hot dogs in the valley, supplied by BavariaNZ.
At 3:00 pm in the Kiwi Hall, the fabulous Wellington-based cook and writer, Lucy Corry (The Kitchenmaid) will join Joelle Thomson, The Wine Writer, in a wide-ranging conversation about Lucy’s new book, ‘Homecooked’ – seasonal recipes for every day.
This is a ticketed event – and tickets are available on Eventfinda: www.eventfinda.co.nz.... There will be door sales.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
