Being in Level 2 means we can now get out and support our local hospitality services. It’s been a challenging time for many in this sector so it’s vital for these businesses to remain nimble and flexible. Wilson Barbecue is a restaurant and food truck business in Johnsonville that has employed a number of different digital strategies to keep growing. Gaining traction through social media with giveaways, influencers, and content - they’ve mastered the art of attracting customers online. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
