3,800 people biked to work in February for the Aotearoa Bike Challenge! We’re seeing more people embracing the active lifestyle, but winter is coming and we need to bike bright in the night🌛 Greater Wellington has some colourful giveaways to help you stay visible on your bike 🚴‍♀️

Giveaways:
Help yourself to retro-reflective tape, back pack covers and slap bands from:
Level 2, 15 Walter Street, Te Aro
Residents in Porirua, Kapiti or Wairarapa, contact your local council road safety and sustainable transport team.
Lower Hutt residents can contact roadsafety@huttcity.govt.nz
Wellington City residents can email cycling@wcc.govt.nz

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
