CDC has gone Pink! getting behind a great cause.
CDC are going “Pink” for the month of October!
Their field teams (mainly blokes) are doing their bit to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October by swapping their fluro orange high vis vests for fluro pink!
This idea came from the Building Services team, and management were quick to support the idea.
To continue their support of raising awareness Council will also be going "Pink for a Day" on Friday 26 October, where they will host a fundraising breakfast to support the cause. They have created an official page and the public can donate if they wish!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
