Ko Matariki mai Te Aroha Tauroa!
On Saturday 17 July there will be a special Matariki star craft session with Te Aroha Tauroa at Te Awamutu Library to celebrate the Māori New Year.
Children will create three or four stars made from flax, paper and or wool. Once complete the stars can be turned into a wall hanging or wearable art (brooch, ring, necklace or bolo (cowboy necktie).
Koha to attend: 10.30am-12noon.
