Poll: Auckland waterfront stadium - yay or nay?
Hey Neighbours,
On Monday Auckland mayor Phil Goff announced that Aucklanders might have to wait 20 years for a new waterfront stadium.
Some have been against the idea, Eden Park chief executive Nick Sautner said Auckland already had "a stadium for all" in Eden Park.
Redeveloping Eden Park up to international standards was also found to be a chaper alternative, that would cost $700 million less than a new waterfront stadium.
Do you think Auckland needs a new waterfront stadium?
Or do you think Eden Park provides a good 'one stop shop'?
Are you glad the new stadium idea seems to be pushed back?
Do you even think we need to upgrade our stadiums/ make stadiums of an international level?
