Family Support Group starting soon
Equip will be starting a new Family/Whānau Support and Education Group in August.
This is for family members or friends who support someone who is experiencing mental health issues.
When you, as a support person in someone’s life are confronted with ongoing stressful situations it is important that you have the support and skills to cope with it.
Equips Caring for Carers education and support group is for adults supporting a person experiencing mental health distress. Skills and strategies are taught in a positive environment and can be used to care for yourself and others.
