Naturopathy & Medical Herbalist student clinic

Emma from Sandringham

Hi neighbours

My name is Emma Gardiner and I'm in the final year of my Naturopathy and Medical Herbalism degree at South Pacific College of Natural Medicine. I also have my Bachelor of Applied Science in nursing and have 20+ years experience in health care.

As part of our final year we run a health clinic (supervised by qualified naturopaths) and are required to see clients to develop health and wellness plans for them. This process involves an initial appointment where we do a comprehensive health review which we then use to formulate a personalised plan that we present at a follow up appointment a week or two later. We then support you to reach your health goals with ongoing appointments if you would like them.

Initial appointments for 18-65 year olds are $40 (90mins)

Children 6-18, students, & unwaged have a reduced fee of only $20.
Free consultations for under 6’s and over 65’s.
All follow-ups are free! (45-60mins)

The Paua Clinic is in Ellerslie and my clinic times are:

Mondays & Thursdays from 2pm - 7pm.

Why see a naturopath?
Whether you are suffering from a chronic or acute condition, looking to better manage stress, balance hormones, improve your skin or digestion, boost your energy and immune system, or simply enhance your overall health & wellbeing, we provide support for a whole range of issues by focusing on identifying the underlying causes & contributing factors and creating a health & wellness plan to address them that is realistic & individualized to suit your needs.

If this sounds like something that would benefit you, or someone you know, bookings can be made at:

www.ezybook.co.nz... Booking page Emma Gardiner

Alternatively, you can call (09) 526 9277 to make a booking.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to be able to support some of you on your health journey.

Emma

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
