'Taku Toi Kahurangi / My Precious Jewel' Fiona Pardington exhibition at Alberton. 2 WEEKS LEFT!

Rendell McIntosh from Alberton

On display for another two weeks at Alberton is a small selection of stunning photographs and a site specific installation by celebrated NZ artist Fiona Pardington as part of the Auckland Festival of Photography.

Fiona’s practice has taken her around the world, delving into museum collections in the UK and France. The exhibition 'Taku Toi Kahurangi / My Precious Jewel' speaks of what is precious and valued responding to Alberton’s history as a colonial homestead and as a museum - a repository of memories and taonga.

If you are in the area pop in to see it during opening hours (Wed-Sun 10:30-4:30). It is free entry and an a unique opportunity to see the work of this important artist in a non-gallery setting, responding to our local history.

1-30 June. FREE ENTRY. Presented in association with Starkwhite and the support of the Albert-Eden Local Board.
