Bee Swarms

Julie from Massey

Hi Everyone. With spring approaching it is nearly time for bees to start swarming. A swarm is nothing to be afraid of and is quite spectacular if you happen to see them during the process. If anything the bees tend to be less defensive of a swarm than they are of an established hive. If you happen to come across a swarm on your property and want it removed please feel free to contact me directly on 0272944402 or alternatively there is a list of ‘Swarm catchers’ available from www.kiwimana.co.nz.... Please do not call an exterminator! Swarms can typically be removed easily or will move on by themselves once they find a suitable home.

Thanking you
Julie Nelson
