Poll: Should Auckland Council be allowed to fly business class?
In a 20-month period, it was uncovered that $509,212 was spent by Auckland Council on business class flights, using ratepayer money. A resolution that would end business class travel was thrown out 8-9 on March 22. Should the council staff be allowed to travel business class, or should they have to pay the difference between an economy fare and more expensive option themselves? www.stuff.co.nz...
