He was adopted by a loving family that live on Awhiorangi Promenade, but unfortunately on Monday 12 November he has gone walk abouts! He could be venturing in any direction.
He has been a long-term stray for a decent period of time. He is desexed and microchipped. He is distinctive by his "sad" facial expression (even when he is happy!) He is a super friendly boy. He is grey and white with white socks, chest and a white upper lip area. When he went missing he was wearing a black velvet collar with a black bell. He may be trying to find his way back to the cafe and some of you may have received flyers that we have posted around the area. Please keep an eye out for our darling boy Ranui, he is much loved and we'd love to have him back.
He likes to hide under buildings and decks so please check under any spaces you have on your property. The more people we have check, the more of a chance we have of finding him.
For any possible sightings, even if you are unsure please contact myself on 0211606395 asap

Although many people were for the idea, some parents felt "blindsided" that they weren't forewarned that Hana Kōkō would be stepping in for Santa Claus. The parade's organisers have since apologised.
So we want to know your view on this topic. Are you in support of modernising Christmas, or do you prefer a traditional Santa? Take part in our poll below!
