Inwards Reserve playground
The Inwards Reserve playground on Salisbury Road, Birkdale, is temporarily closed while the broken wooden edging is replaced with 70m of new timber, and extra bark is added. The perimeter will be a little larger than before as it will now encompass all the shade sail poles.

Feeding chickens
Hi there, we are going away for the first week of the upcoming school holidays and looking for someone to feed our 2 backyard chickens while we are gone. Is there anyone out there able to help with this? Could be a good way for a young one to earn a bit of holiday pocket money perhaps?
We will provide all the food required, and it only takes about 5mins a day. Plus you’d be welcome to keep the eggs they lay each day for that time too.
