Active Whakapapa

Active Whakapapa is a one of a kind experience. Enjoy a leisurely walk and learn about the connection Māori have to the whenua (land) and Taiao (environment) through the sharing of Iwi stories, narratives and history.

Active Whakapapa aims to encourage correct pronunciation of traditional place names and educates about the deeper meaning behind each name. We want to contribute to more Te Reo Māori being spoken, heard and seen in our parks and green spaces. Book your free tickets at http://aucklandexperiences.co.nz/

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
