Hello from Kalandra
Hi everyone, we've been posting for a while but are new to the broader community. Kalandra Education Group upskill Carers in Dementia and Mental Health & Addiction (Level 4). Our Foundress Dr Christine Clark a Registered Nurse and Doctor of Health & Wellbeing identified gaps in the system while visiting her dying parents living in Residential Care. Unable to assist them, she vowed to help others navigate their journey. Kalandra Education Group is the only face-to-face facility focussed on Aged Care Education. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
