World Diabetes Day
Today is World Diabetes Day.
The theme for this year is ‘The Family and Diabetes’, which is designed to promote the role of family in the management, care, prevention and education of diabetes.
This idea is echoed by @Diabetes NZ’s Diabetes Action Month theme ‘Act Now to Live Well’, which encourages families to make positive collective lifestyle changes, such as adopting a healthy diet and including exercise in daily routines.
@Anytime Fitness New Zealand is proud to support Diabetes NZ as we work together to help more people reach their healthier place.
This World Diabetes Day, we encourage you to think about new healthy habits and activities that you can enjoy with your family. Please share your ideas and tips in the comments in order to help inspire others!
