The Real Estate Market is Sizzling HOT!!

Kim Thompson from

Morning Neighbours,

We are sure you would have seen the reports circulating about the state of the current real estate market. It has completely defied predictions. The buyer activity is unprecedented, with properties reaching previously unseen highs and the number of sales breaking records.

Auckland's median jumped 16 per cent to $950,000 - a new record high - up from $819,000 at the same time last year and up from $918,097 in July. (NZ Herald 11 September 2020).

Bindi Norwell CEO of REINZ said in the Herald: "This has been particularly prevalent in Kohimarama, where median prices increased 47.5 per cent when compared to the same time last year and Meadowbank increasing 33.7 per cent year-on-year,"

There are even some high end properties that are being bought "sight unseen". This would be unheard of at this time last year. It truly is a market of real opportunity for property owners.

So what about our team, how are we doing?

Team JEPC have sold 13 properties since the beginning of July.

We are leading the way in our office and one of the top teams in Eastern Bays.

Our technical skills are absolute cutting edge and ahead of our competition.

Our vendors and buyers universally recommend and praise the way we work.

The Maguires group of Ray White offices have the highest market share of any brand.

So, what does this all mean?

Simple.... NOW is the time to get your property appraised. Unless you understand the value of your property, you can never make an informed decision. If you are even remotely contemplating selling, NOW is the time to come to market. We can't and will not predict what is going to happen in 12 months. However we DO know what is happening now, and as said... it is unprecedented.

Call us now for your free appraisal. There is NO obligation to sell, however you may decide after reading our analysis, that you will take advantage of the hot buyer demand!

Cheers,
Judith Everitt, Peter Chatteris & Kim Thompson - Team JEPC

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

Seeking house sitting with a cat

Marissa from Remuera

Hi, I'm interested to house sit for anyone around Remuera or nearby suburbs over the holiday weeks. 🎄🎁
I have a cat I'd like to spend time with as I'm not allowed to have him where I live currently.
My cat minder is going overseas for three weeks from 22 December 2024.
I'm honest, respectful of others privacy and property. I'm very clean and tidy and I will happily do jobs like basic garden work while you're away to keep busy. 🙂
I'm keeping options open reaching out on Neighbourly as well as signing up on a house sitting website.
If you or you know of anyone who's looking for a house sitter please feel free to contact me on the below.
