Heading off to the beach these holidays?
The long, hot summer days are with us! The bikinis are out, beach patrol flags are up, the shade of the Pohutukawa beckons along with the cool blue sea.
Before you head in that direction, check out Auckland Council’s upgraded Safeswim website safeswim.org.nz
It’s a great new tool to help you understand water quality at your local beaches. There’s up-to-date information on beach conditions so you can make safe choices on where and when to swim. Check it out on our new mobile friendly website.
Our partners in this venture are Watercare, Surf Lifesaving Northern Region and Auckland Regional Public Health Service.
