Bookings are open for 2017 inorganics

Communications Team from Auckland Council

Inorganic collections begin this month in some areas – so make sure you use the online tool to book your collection! All Auckland households can book an annual inorganic rubbish collection of up to 1 cubic metre (roughly the size of a small trailer load). Find out what can be collected now.

In the meantime if you have reusable items why not offer them to a new home by donating, selling or swapping them? Take a look at what residents across Auckland are giving away for FREE or give away or sell an item now.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
