Are all PRP treatments the same?

NZ Musculoskeletal & Regenerative Medicine Centre

Not all PRP Created equally. One ☝️ size does not fit it all. I treated a shoulder and knee problems with different PRP preparations today. A colleague of mine asked me why does it take 1.5 hours to do a knee or a shoulder injection like what the guy down the road does. That made me think about the answer deeply. The answer is Musculoskeletal structures pathologies need different treatment with different Plasma preparations. Treating the Joint as an organ system is more complex than a simple injection that the guy down the road can do. It needs proper planning after understanding the pathology to know what to address and how to address it. Thats not to add the extensive training required to do it under image guidance #regenerativemedicine #prp #plateletrichplasma #orthobiologics #stemcells #stemcelltherapy #musculoskeletal #pain #chronicpain #healing #fitness #advancement #osteoarthritis #sportsinjury #arthritis #ehlosdanlossyndrome #fibromyalgia

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
