Special screening of Celia Lashlie's documentary 8pm, March 7
Special screening of documentary Celia as a fundraiser for Ako school - 8pm, Thursday 7 March at Bridgeway cinema in Northcote point (flyer below). Shown in the NZ film festival last year - social advocate Celia Lashlie talks openly about her life, her work and her dreams of a better New Zealand in the days before her death. An incredible person - she held senior roles in the corrections system and talked openly and strongly about how our society is failing our youth, particularly our boys.
