Please help our Samoan dance group get to Polyfest
Kia Ora Talofa lava,
Who are we?
We are a Samoan Polyfest dance group made up of Onehunga and South Auckland high school students aged 13 to 18.
How can you help?
Due to severe financial constraints our students desperately need urgent funding to help pay for costumes and to cover expenses so they can perform on stage at next month’s Polyfest.
Showcasing their culture and pride through dance and music is something that our young people are passionate about but without financial assistance, we may well struggle to achieve our goal. Performing at the largest Polynesian festival in the world is one of the major highlights for our young students as they have been practicing tirelessly every day to perfect their art.
We would sincerely appreciate if you could help us achieve our goal of $5,000. Our performance will not be complete without a traditional uniform, so we respectfully ask if you could help us achieve our target.
