Please STOP Rubbish Dumping
This morning at Gladstone Park Early Childhood Centre (Balfour Road), we were once again greeted by an unfortunate sight. Someone decided to dump all their unwanted rubbish at our Centre and fill up our rubbish bins over the weekend ๐. It's not the first time this has happened and we end up having to pay to have it removed each time. As a not-for-profit organisation, it's a financial burden we can't ignore.
We're dedicated to teaching our little ones to be tidy kiwis, but shouldn't we all know better by now?
Let's be responsible, caring neighbors and dispose of our rubbish properly to keep Parnell clean and beautiful ๐
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesnโt have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
