Volunteer Visitors for Older People Needed
We need more volunteer visitors in Pukekohe and Waiuku as we have clients waiting to be matched.
We are particularly looking for people who have week-day availability to visit with an older person.
If you are over 18, enjoy chatting with older people and are able to commit to visiting an older person for an hour a week on an ongoing basis we would love to hear from you. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Dead cat
I saw a dead cat on Everglade Drive this morning near the crossing of Keri Anne place. It had been placed near the pavement. Black and white colour. Young. Did not look like it had been dead too long. If you know anyone who is looking for a cat, please inform.
