My name is Loris and I’m a private gardener.

Do you, or someone you know require ongoing gardening and/or outdoor maintenance services?

EMPLOYMENT REQUIRED: I’m currently seeking a new client who is ideally in need of weekly or fortnightly ongoing gardening and/or outdoor maintenance services.

I am a reliable, hard working, friendly and professional young man with a great attention to detail.
I am based on the North Shore, but happy to travel.
I love being of service to others and have particularly enjoyed working for our elderly who can greatly benefit from young helping hands.

SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Gardening: weeding, clearing work, planting, trimming/cutting, tidy-ups, plant maintenance, lawn mowing
- Out-Door Maintenance: water blasting, cleaning, minor painting jobs, clean-ups and reordering of property
- Other: minor landscaping jobs, deconstruction, removal of inorganic waste, odd jobs
- In-Door Work: open (e.g. minor painting jobs, cleaning, tidying etc.)

Great references and photos of past work available upon request.

Hourly rate: $35 /h

Smoke in Mt Wellington

Smoke has been seen coming from the crater of the Auckland maunga Mt Wellington.

Images of the smoke began appearing on social media on Friday afternoon.

Around 1.45pm, Fire and Emergency (Fenz) shift manager Josh Pennefather told the NZ Herald a crew was fighting a fire of about 60 square metres in size.
”It’s spreading up hill … [but] there’s no property at risk at this stage,” Pennefather said.

Six fire trucks were in attendance working to contain a grass fire that's spreading up the maunga.

A helicopter was on its way to assist firefighting efforts, he added.

At 2pm, Pennefather shared that the fire was contained and they were working to extinguish it, including “keeping an eye on a whole bunch of hot spots“.
