Pallet Timber

Brenda from Browns Bay

I have about .75 mtr of timber which I have disassembled from pallets for a project which is no longer going ahead.
I was going to use them as cladding for a shed as the timber is particularly suitable for outdoor use. See below.
I am using my wife's account to post this.

They are North American white cedar, which according to this site www.srs.fs.usda.gov... is both termite and rot resistant. "The rot- and termite-resistant wood is used principally for products in contact with water and soil."

Being American, they are in inches so the size is 40 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide by 1/2 inch thick. That converts to approx 1016 mm (just over 1 metre) x 90 mm x 12.5 mm.

Some of the ends have split around the nail holes, but I think I kept the best ones. Could be ideal for outdoor furniture or planter boxes.

Collection from Browns Bay.

Price: $20

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
