Meet the former North Shore woman hoping to be NZ's first female champion sit skier
Hi neighbours, in case you missed it, former Milford resident Gemma Fletcher moved to Wanaka to chase her dream of becoming New Zealand's first female sit skier to compete at the Paralympics. The mum of two use a specially-designed ski as she's had a spinal injury since her family was involved in a serious car crash when she was 4. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
