Burial or cremation?
In 1908 New Zealand's first cremation was carried out in Wellington. Since then we have seen a steady increase in its acceptance. But only over the last 20 years has it become more popular than burial.
Statistics tell us that 9/10 people who die in the next 10 years will opt for cremation.
For many people their choice to be cremated or buried comes down to a financial decision. It's important that your loved ones know what your wishes are.
Both are great options, which would you prefer?
Our job is to provide you with expert guidance, and the information you need to make informed decisions.
It doesn't need to be expensive and there are many ways we can save you money, so you can have the farewell you want; Not just the farewell you can afford.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
