Shore Singers 43rd Annual concert
The Shore Singers’ Choir which holds its 43rd Annual Concert at 2pm on 18 November at St George’s Church in Takapuna has a tradition of inviting top guest artistes to perform at its concerts.
Featuring this year is Callum Hall, one of the very talented members of the North Shore’s musical Hall family. Callum who is currently playing with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra will be accompanied by another excellent cellist, Jesbery Hartono who has recently completed her internship with the APO and is now a casual member of the orchestra.
Also on the programme is flute player, Leah Munroe who has performed with many orchestras and engages regularly as a session musician and exam accompanist.
The mixed choir under its long-serving conductor, Beth Donnell, will present Aspects of Life a varied programme ranging from the classical to the modern and touching on themes of love, faith, memories, humour and freedom.
Tickets are $20.00 with children under 16 free. (Afternoon Tea follows)
