Sports Center

Duncan from New Windsor

I asked if the proposed aquatic and sports center in our area was still being planned?
Response from Whau Board?

Kia ora Duncan,
Thank you for your enquiry.

As part of the 2018 Long-term Plan, the Whau Local Board successfully advocated to secure funding from Auckland Council’s Governing Body for the development of an aquatic and recreational facility in the Whau area. They local board has continued to advocate strongly to advance the site identification and implementation of this facility.
Unfortunately, the financial impact of COVID-19 has created uncertainty around the delivery of this project and the likelihood is that it will be further delayed. The Whau Local Board is absolutely committed to this project as it has been consistently identified as a high priority to the local communities.
Thank you.

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Luckily self-checkout is being pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?

What are your thoughts? Is that rude?

Share in the comments below if this has ever happened to you.
