Jetstar birthday sale offers Kiwis 25,000 fares for under $50 one way

Brian from New Lynn

The cheap flights include Auckland-Queenstown for $49 and Wellington-Queenstown for $39. The sale starts on Wednesday morning and Jetstar says it includes 25,000 fares for under $50. Travel dates for the sale fares include mid-August to mid-September and mid-October to mid-December this year, along with mid-February to mid-March, 2021.
Jetstar's birthday sale airfares:
==========================
Auckland-Wellington from $32 one-way
Auckland-Christchurch from $34 one-way
Christchurch-Wellington from $32 one-way
Auckland-Dunedin from $49 one-way
Auckland-Queenstown from $49 one-way
Wellington-Queenstown from $39 one-way
The travel dates don't include the current school holiday period, which recently did a price check on to see if Jetstar or Air New Zealand offered cheaper flights. As always, one should check the fine print on the airfare sale prices to find out what additional baggage costs, booking fees and other charges will be added. The 'Jetstar's (Belated) Birthday Sale' campaign offerings are available early to Club Jetstar members and will run through until Saturday, unless sold out prior.

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Luckily self-checkout is being pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?

What are your thoughts? Is that rude?

Share in the comments below if this has ever happened to you.
