Winter specials for all aspects of tree work

The shortest day marks the start of our annual
"Dormant Season Tree Work Special"
All trees including evergreen varieties have a dormant season during winter. This is the ideal time to prune for tree health, tree reduction & view restoration. Undertaking tree work now ensures your trees will be beautiful & healthy in Spring & Summer.
A1 Sure Services offers an annual "Dormant Season Special" as our climbers do not have to contend with heavy limbs and leaves during the winter. The climbers are able to move through the tree much faster, no matter what service we are providing, which means less time in the tree. Clean-up time is also reduced, due to the reduction of tree leaves to rake and haul away.
"Dormant Season Special"
All aspects of tree work - tree removal, tree pruning & hedges.

What's your favourite tomato recipe?

Mei Leng Wong Reporter from NZ Gardener & Get Growing

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.

Plastic beach rubbish

Bryson from Hillcrest

Two recent emus on Takapuna beach. One lithium battery picked up from the edge of the deck of the Harbour Bridge during the recent Hikoi. My guess is the other half is sitting at the bottom of the Waitemata Harbour.
